Priscilla Henchman – (Director)
Priscilla began her career at Saint Paul’s CDC in 2007 as a teacher in the 3 year old program.  She took over as Director in the fall of 2011.  Prior to working at St. Paul’s she was a Director and teacher for 15 years at a preschool in Milford, and served on the Board of Milford Kids Count.  Priscilla earned her Associates Degree in Special Education and a CDA from the National Association of Young Children.  In addition, she recently completed course work through The Connecticut Charts-A-Course program and received her Connecticut Director’s Credential for directors of early care and education programs from Charter Oak State College, and is a member of her local NAEYC Affiliate.  Priscilla is a dedicated educator and administrator who is committed to providing quality care to the community she serves. Priscilla has two grown, married sons and six grandchildren who bring special joy to the whole family!  She is a boater and enjoys boating with her husband.  Additionally, she is an avid reader who enjoys reading with her book club members and is an avid tennis player as well.

Cecile Lobo – (Administrative Assistant)
Cecile has been a part of the St. Paul’s family for many years, first as a parent, and  then as a substitute teacher.  She now holds the position of Administrative Assistant, where she enjoys supporting staff and families alike! She is an active parent in the Bridgeport Public School system,  and is committed to providing families in Bridgeport quality educational opportunities. She and her husband are the proud parents of sons, Evan and Alexy.  In her spare time she enjoys reading and traveling.

Louise Calabro - (Teacher)
Louise is a graduate of Housatonic Community College and has her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as her Child Development Associate Credential.  She also holds a Head Teacher Certificate from the State of Connecticut, and is a member of CT Charts-A-Couse and the NAEYC.  She has over 25 years of experience teaching and nurturing children, working in Head Start and Readiness programs. She also provides Nursery Care at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfield on Sunday mornings and spent four summers as the First Aid Director for the Sterling House Day Park Camp in Stratford. In her spare time, Louise enjoys visiting the sick and elderly, and has been a Friendly visitor in The Jewish Home for the Elderly and a Chaplain’s Assistant at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, and is a graduate of the Ministry Education Exploration Program (MEEP) from the Episcopal Diocese. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Louise resides in Stratford with her husband of 40 years.  Together they have two grown children, Melisa and Nicole, along with three grandchildren.

Karen Williams – (Head Teacher)
Karen Williams began teaching for Saint Paul’s CDC in the spring of 2007.  She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently matriculating towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Karen loves children and being a teacher and looks forward to having children of her own one day.  She enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, and going for walks in the park.  Karen believes strongly in the NAEYC philosophy, and the accreditation process reaffirmed her passion for providing a safe, nourishing learning environment for the children she teaches.

Simone Kirton - (Teacher)
Simone joined our staff in 2011 and is happy and excited to be part of our teaching team.  She recently graduated from Housatonic Community College with her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education, and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Simone enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and in her spare time loves to read, exercise and travel.

Janet Georgen - (Head Teacher & Curriculum Specialist) Janet began teaching at St. Paul’s in 2012.  She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  Janet has taught for 15 years in various nursery schools and daycare centers with children from infant to Kindergarten.  Her recent experience was teaching a Parent/Toddler class in Fairfield and working with three and four year olds. She is a member of the Bridgeport Early Childhood Advisory Committee and enjoys attending workshops and classes to further her education. Jan loves children's literature and instilling a love of reading in young children. Jan is married and has a son Tom who lives in Maryland and two daughters, Carly who is an Early Childhood Special Ed teacher and Miranda who is pursuing a college degree in fashion. Jan enjoys spending time with her children and family at the lake and walking the beach with her dog.

Patricia Covino – (Head Teacher)
Patty has been touching children’s lives for many years.  She earned her A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Housatonic Community.   In 1991 then earned a B.S. in Human and Community Services with honors (concentration on children and families) from the University of Bridgeport.   Patricia is a NAEYC member and a State of C.T. DPH certified head teacher.  In 2012 she then earned a certificate in Early Childhood Administration from Post University. Patty worked for the YWCA Children Center as a Preschool teacher for many years.  In 1993, she established Monroe Country Day Care LLC where she taught, and managed two programs Infant/toddlers and preschool until July 2013.  Prior to her teaching she was a dental assistant and office manager at a local dental office. Patricia has been employed at St. Paul's since December 2013 and is currently an active member of the Bridgeport Early Childhood Advisory Committee. She has volunteered in several past positions for the Monroe Women’s Club, Justice Center for families in Bridgeport and as a Guardian Ad Litem (court appointed child advocate for neglected or abused children).  She was involved for many years with The Greater Bridgeport Day Care Association and Boy Scout Troop 163. Patty lived in Monroe for 23 years and currently resides in Milford, CT with her family. She enjoys traveling, cooking, visiting with friends, various cuisine, playing with the family dog, local music venues, and cultural events.

Cheryl Fitzpatrick – (Teacher)
Cheryl began her teaching career teaching preschool in 1997 and continued in the public school system as a substitute teacher for many years, across all ages; as a Reading Teacher, Pre-K Teacher, and Special Education to name a few. She is a graduate of Sacred Heart University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She also holds a certificate from Parent Leadership Training Institute. Cheryl served as a Vice President of Milford's Promise and currently serves on the board of the United Way of Milford. She has worked with RYLA (Rotarian Youth Leadership), Milford Kids Count, and is a founding member of the Women with United Vision. Cheryl is a mom of three and a dog, Molly, and is happily married to her husband , Mike, for 25 years. Cheryl is very proud to be part of the St. Paul's family. 

Fiorella Torres – (Teacher) 

Fiorella has been working at St. Paul's CDC since October 2014, has recently become full time and is excited to be part of the team. She has recently finish her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Special Education at Housatonic Community College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Charter Oak State College. Fiorella enjoys working with children and would love to have children of her own one day. She also enjoys volunteering for charity events, loves to read, go on hikes, travel and do crafts in her spare time. She resides with her husband in Ansonia.

Jessica Vazquez – (Teacher)
Jessica is a graduate of Housatonic Community College and obtained her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, with a concentration in Special Education. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She began working at St. Paul's in June 2016 and loves providing the children the opportunity to learn and grow! She currently resides in Derby and enjoys cooking and reading in her spare time.
